I Got Pregnant Naturally at 40
After Two Miscarriages.
Here's Exactly What I Did.
In 2008, I lost two pregnancies. The grief was unlike anything I had ever experienced — and the silence around it made it worse. Nobody talked about what had gone wrong. Nobody asked about what I could do differently. I was sent home with my loss and told to try again.
I refused to accept that as the answer.
I spent all of 2009 doing something that changed everything: I researched. Obsessively. Methodically. I charted my cycle and discovered I had a 30-day cycle — not 28. That one insight shifted when I timed intercourse and changed everything. I did a 4-month herbal fibroid cleanse and watched an ultrasound confirm significant fibroid reduction. I rebuilt my nutrition from the ground up with a daily morning green smoothie that gave me more energy than I'd felt in years. I practised fertility yoga asanas every day and felt my body become more open, more flexible, more alive.
"And then I did something almost nobody in the fertility space talks about: I got my husband involved. We did a 28-day detoxification protocol together — both of us — in August 2009. The change we both felt was profound."
In September 2010, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
I was 40 years old. I had done it naturally. And I had done it by preparing my body — and his — rather than rushing toward intervention before giving our bodies a real chance.
I later wrote a book about this journey, self-published on Amazon. But I always knew the most powerful piece of what I discovered — the couples detox, the shared protocol, the preparation-first approach — deserved its own focused, accessible guide for every woman who is sitting where I once sat.
This is that guide.
